Authentic Buddhist Amulet w/Opal
These Buddhist amulets were made by monks to solicit donations for the monastery. While most depictions of the Buddha are of him sitting reclining or lying down this particular amulet depicts the Thai Walking Buddha. The Walking Buddha represents the Thai kings who were known for walking amongst their people and having a closer, more direct relationship with them. While the image impresses a more feminine appearance this is, in fact, a male form of the Buddha.
This amulet is set in sterling silver with 14k gold accents and a beautiful Welo opal filled with fire and color. The pendant comes on an 18" wheat chain.
